game downloads ok but no curser comes on screen

have downloaded several games and when i try to play them i cant get a curser to show on screen. if i move the mouse randomly i can get various selections to light up and then select something else but i cannot see the curser.

Bob, I have had the same problem with some games and one of these solutions has usually solved it.

First, put your cursor on the game icon on your desktop and right click the mouse. You should see an option to Troubleshoot Compatibility, or something similar. Click on this and your computer should do some checking. When, if, it tells you it as found a solution, click on OK, and the game should start and you should be good to go with your cursor.

The other thing that has worked for me a couple of times is to play the game on the not full screen option. The cursor for some reason sometimes like this better.

Hey, they are computers after all and it is amazing that they work in the first place.
